In this episode, I invited my friend Jennie to join me. Jennie and I met when we were both living overseas. In Portugal, Jennie was in full hosting mode, in fact it was her job! She would often entertain up to 6-7 times per month. I like how she touched on hybrid entertaining and how creating a more casual setting helps to increase a sense of connection. We discuss the differences between cultures and how opening up our homes (to other cultures) helps to build bridges. As a trained chef she also shared practical tips for how to host well.
