24 | Long distance relationships

Global connectivity has given us the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. It also opens up opportunities for work and studies that make us know new places and cultures. In this whole movement, relationships suddenly arise. Whether they started in the same physical place and then life made them migrate, or they met and then returned to their countries. Long-distance relationships present particular challenges. They're not new. Let us remember the relationships through letters, and the waiting for those who had to undertake missions to unknown territories. But the truth is, today's technology, creates the illusion that we must always be close, face-to-face or virtually, to those we want.
